I’m Mila Wheeler, CEO of AbSouLute Beauty. I started braiding when I was just eleven, trading hairstyles for earrings with my schoolmates. After apprenticing under an experienced braider, I launched my own business at fourteen. When I became pregnant at fifteen, hair became my sole source of income to support my son.
Now, with over fourteen years of professional experience, I’ve built AbSouLute Beauty on the belief that doing hair is a sacred ritual—one that creates lasting memories both in and beyond the chair. My mission goes beyond serving clients: I love empowering aspiring beauty professionals and supporting grassroots organizations through freelance administrative services.
